We often talk about our “90-point inspection,” but what does that actually mean? Today, we are pulling back the curtain to show you exactly what happens to a device from the moment it enters our facility to the moment it ships to your door.

1. Secure Data Erasure

Before a technician even looks at the screen, the device is plugged into our secure data wiping system. This software performs a military-grade wipe, ensuring absolutely zero data remains from the previous owner. It also checks global databases to ensure the phone hasn’t been reported lost or stolen.

2. Automated Diagnostics

Next, we run proprietary diagnostic software. Within minutes, this software tests:

  • Internal Sensors: Gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular bands, and NFC (Apple Pay).
  • Battery Health: Reading the raw cycle count and chemical age, not just the iOS percentage.

3. Manual Hardware Checks

Software can’t catch everything. Our certified technicians manually test the tactile click of every button, inspect the charging port under a microscope for lint or corrosion, and test the speakers and microphones in a sound-dampened environment.
